We care about your health and the health of your family. The best way to protect yourself and your loved ones against influenza (flu) is to get a flu vaccine every flu season. Flu is a contagious respiratory disease that can lead to serious illness, hospitalization, or even death. Even healthy people can get the flu, and it can be serious. The CDC recommends that everyone 6 months and older should get a flu vaccine.

This season, protect yourself—and those around you—by getting a flu vaccine. UConn Health has vaccines available. If you have not been vaccinated yet this year, please call your primary care providers office to schedule your flu vaccination.
